Pottsville City Democratic Committee Annual Picnic, Friday, August 4, 5:30 to 9:30 PM, Barefield Recreation Complex, 823 Terry Reiley Way, Pottsville.  Donation, $40 per person, $70 per couple.

Voter Registration Drive in Mahanoy City, Saturday, August 5, 10 AM to 1 PM.  Spanish-speaking volunteers from Luzerne, Berks, and Lehigh counties will be joining us in helping to register voters.  We will be working in groups of two and going to addresses that do not have any registered voters listed.  Meet in Kaier Park, 16 N. Oak St., Mahanoy City.  Pizza will be served after the event.

Central Schuylkill Democratic Club, Wednesday, August 9, Washington Hotel, 201 Sunbury St., Minersville. Dinner from 6 to 7 PM, pay for your own meal, meeting at 7 PM.  For Democrats that reside in both the Minersville Area, St. Clair, and Pottsville school districts.

Mike O’Pake Pig Roast, Friday, August 11, 5 to 10 PM, St. Clair Fish and Game, 800 E. Lawton St., St. Clair.  Donation $35.

Schuylkill Indivisible Monthly Meeting, Monday, August 14, 6:30 PM via Zoom.

Pottsville City Council Fundraiser, Thursday, August 24, 6 to 9 PM, Schuylkill Arts Council (Yuengling Mansion), 1440 Mahantango St., Pottsville.  $75 per person, $125 for a couple.

SCDC Meeting/Picnic, Sunday, August 27, Noon to 4 PM. Tuscarora State Park. Please bring a covered dish. All Democrats are welcome to attend, but only PCP’s can make motions and vote. Sign up here.
